What's new in XClarity One Hub v1.7

Review this information to learn about new hardware support and software enhancements that are included in Lenovo XClarity One Hub v1.7.

Refer to the change history file (*.chg) that is provided in the update package on the XClarity One downloads webpage for information about bugs that were fixed in this release.

Important
Software enhancements were made to support functional enhancements in the XClarity One portal. When you update XClarity One to 26.2, you must also update XClarity One Hub to v1.7.

Software enhancements

Here are the enhancements included in this release for the hub.

Hubs
You can install XClarity One Hub on the following hosts (see Installing XClarity One Hub).
  • Proxmox 9.1
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux 10.2

You can set up XClarity One Hub for high availability (HA) to help ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime (see Installing XClarity One Hub).

The date when the hub update was applied is shown on the Hub Updates page (see Hub updates).

You can configure the hub to communicate with devices on additional network interfaces (see Hub network).

You can configure the hub to forward events to an alternate destination as a failsafe when the hub cannot communicate with the XClarity One portal (see Event forwarders in the hub).

You can test the proxy connection after configuring a web-proxy server (see Hub network).
