Install the tray cover

Use this information to install the tray cover.

Note

The following illustration might differ slightly from your hardware, but the installation method is the same.

Procedure

  1. Install the gasket to the inside of the tray cover.
    1. Flip over the tray cover to show its inside.

    2. Remove the backing from the gasket.

    3. Align the gasket with the edge of the emboss on the tray front.
    4. Attach the gasket to the inside of the tray cover.

  2. Position the cover on top of the tray and slide the cover towards the front of the tray.

    Important
    Before you slide the cover forward, make sure that all the tabs on the front, rear, and side of the cover are engaged with the enclosure correctly. If all the tabs do not engage the enclosure correctly, it will be very difficult to remove the cover later.
After you finish

  1. Install the tray into the enclosure. See Install a tray in the enclosure.

  2. Connect all required external cables to the solution.
    Note
    Use extra force to connect QSFP cables to the solution.

  3. Check the power LED on each node to make sure it changes from fast blink to slow blink to indicate all nodes are ready to be powered on.
