Install the tray rubber

Use this information to install the tray rubber.

About this task

Attention

Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
When transferring system components from a defect tray to a new tray, make sure to install the tray rubber to the new tray.

Firmware and driver download: You might need to update the firmware or driver after replacing a component.

Go to Drivers and Software download website for ThinkSystem SC777 V4 to see the latest firmware and driver updates for your server.
Go to Update the firmware for more information on firmware updating tools.

Procedure

Attach the tray rubber on the Mylar in rear right-side corner in the tray.

After you finish

Install the P48V bus bar. See Install the P48V bus bar.
Install the water loop. See Install the water loop.
Install the E3.S drive cage. See Install an E3.S drive cage assembly.
Install the PCIe adapter riser cage. See Install a ConnectX-7 NDR 200 adapter riser assembly, Install a ConnectX-7 NDR 400 adapter riser assembly, Install a ConnectX-8 XDR adapter riser assembly, or Install the OSFP module.
Install the bus bar connector module. See Install the bus bar connector module.
Install the cross bar. See Install the cross bar.
Install the tray cover. See Install the tray cover.
Install the tray into the enclosure. See Install a tray in the enclosure.
Connect all required external cables to the solution.
Note
Use extra force to connect QSFP cables to the solution.
Check the power LED on each node to make sure it changes from fast blink to slow blink to indicate all nodes are ready to be powered on.
