IBM WebSphere DataPower Integration Blade XI50B unique information
This topic lists device-specific information for solving problems with the advanced management module appliance.
The advanced management module appliance shares many system board components with the IBM BladeCenter HS22 blade server. Pay attention to the following exceptions when using the IBM BladeCenter HS22 Problem Determination and Service Guide to solve problems with your blade appliance:
- The component designations for customer replaceable units (CRUs) and field replaceable units (FRUs) in the advanced management module appliance might be different from those listed in the IBM BladeCenter HS22 Problem Determination and Service Guide. If these designations are not the same, use the CRU and FRU designations listed in this document when servicing the blade appliance.
- There are no serviceable components in the expansion unit of the blade appliance. Any error codes or messages that indicate a problem within the expansion unit requires that the expansion unit be replaced. See Error logs for information about viewing error logs for the blade appliance.
- The advanced management module appliance uses a unique set of firmware that includes the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI or BIOS), an operating system, and application software. Information in the IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances: Administrators Guide and IBM WebSphere DataPower: Command Reference for your blade appliance should be used instead of information in the IBM BladeCenter HS22 Problem Determination and Service Guide for all firmware related issues.
