Powering on, powering off, and restarting a server

This section describes how to power on, power off, and restart a server on the Lenovo Server page.

Note

  • Alternatively, users can also power on, power off, and restart a server on the All Connections page. For more information, refer to Powering on, powering off, and restarting one or more servers.

  • This process takes a few minutes. A job will be created when the process starts. To view the results, click the Jobs icon on the top right corner of the Lenovo Server page, and click Persistent Jobs.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Lenovo Server page. Refer to Logging in to the Lenovo Server page.
  2. In the Summary pane of the Lenovo Server page, click Power On, Power Off, or Reboot.
  3. When the Warning window is displayed, click Yes to continue.
