- Make sure there is a node filler correctly installed for the empty node slot.
- Make sure the air baffles are placed and correctly installed; and make sure the node cover is installed and completely closed.
- Make sure the fans are operating, and there are no obstructions to the airflow (both front and rear of the server).
- Reduce the Ambient temperature. The system must be operating within the specifications. (see Features and specifications for more information)
- Make sure the PCI adapter is supported by the server. To confirm, see the IBM ServerProven website.
- Replace the PCI adapter and make sure the PCI adapter is functioning normally.
