Technical rules for backplanes and backplates
Backplanes and backplates must be installed in a specific order based on the CPU configuration that you implement on your server.

Install NVMe or AnyBay backplanes starting at backplane 1.
Backplane 1/2 supports SAS/SATA, NVMe, or AnyBay backplane.
Backplane 3/4 supports SAS/SATA backplane.
VROC supports up to 8 NVMe drives.
