Adding a bucket for your ONTAP S3 SVM

You can add a bucket once you have configured your ONTAP S3 SVM. The bucket is the physical device used to service object data to your clients or other ONTAP devices.

1. Click Storage > Buckets.
2. Click +Add.
3. Provide a name for the bucket, assign it to the SVM and select a size.
4. If you select More options, you will need to select if the bucket should use tiering. Choose if you want to enable SnapMirror for the bucket and assign permissions for the bucket.
5. Click Save.
