Configuring audit logs

Starting from ONTAP 9.11.1, you can configure audit logging. Audit logging allows you to manage user requests that are received on any of the supported protocols like ONTAPI, REST API or CLI.

1. Click Events and Jobs.
2. Select Audit Logs.
3. Click Settings.
4. Enable HTTP GET requests, ONTAPI GET requests, or CLI GET requests by clicking it.
5. Click Save.
6. Click Manage Audit Destinations.
7. Click +Add.
8. Select the destination for the audit logs, facility to use, protocol to use, and port for the destination.
9. Click Save.
