Creating home directory shares

You can use Storage Manager to create a home directory share and to manage home directory search paths.

Before you begin

CIFS must be set up and started.

  1. Click Storage > Shares.
  2. Select +Add and then Home Directory.
  3. Specify the name of the share and add a relative path.
  4. In the home directory search path, add a path to the volume that was created previously.
  5. Add permissions if needed.
  6. Click Save.
