What's new in ThinkSystem SAN Manager

This version of SAN Manager includes new features.

This version contains minor enhancements only.

Certificate enhancementsThis release allows for using an external tool such as OpenSSL to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR), which also requires you to import a private key file along with the signed certificate.

Mirroring configuration changesThe tasks for configuring synchronous and asynchronous mirrored pairs have moved from System Manager to SAN Manager . All other tasks for managing mirrored pairs remain in System Manager .
Password requirements for admin userFor first-time login in SAN Manager , you must now enter a password for the administrator user. There is no longer a default "admin" password.
NVMe over FC host interfaceAn NVMe over Fibre Channel host connection can now be configured for DE6000F or DE6000H 64 GB controller models.
NVMe over RoCE host interfaceAn NVMe over RoCE host connection can now be configured for DE6000F or DE6000H 64 GB controller models.

Version 3.1 includes the following new feature:

Upgrade CenterThe Upgrade Center in SAN Manager provides functions for upgrading the ThinkSystem SAN OS software for multiple storage arrays. The upgrade includes the latest software and the NVSRAM.
