Test email alert configuration

The start emailAlert test command allows you to test the alert configuration by sending a sample email message.

Supported Arrays​

This command applies to an individual DE2000H, DE4000H, DE4000F, DE6000H, or DE6000F storage array.

Roles​

To execute this command on an storage array, you must have the Storage Admin or Support Admin role.

Syntax​


start emailAlert test

Parameters​

None.

Examples​


SMcli -n Array1 -c "start emailAlert test;"

The sample alert message was successfully sent to the email addresses.

SMcli completed successfully.
