Prepare to replace battery

The steps to prepare for battery replacement depend on your controller configuration. The following replacement procedure is based on the scenario that you have two controllers. Before you replace the failed batter, you must take the affected controller offline.

  • Place controller offline
    Place the affected controller offline so you can safely remove the failed battery. You must back up the configuration and collect support data first. Then, you can take the affected controller offline.
