- Mirror volumes asynchronously
With the Asynchronous Mirroring feature, a volume can have two physical copies, which facilitates data availability and minimizes downtime. Every asynchronous mirroring relationship involves one volume in a primary role and one volume (on a different storage array) in a secondary role. - Manage mirror consistency groups
You manage mirror consistency groups to test the communication link, suspend or resume the group, manually re-synchronize the group, change the group role, edit settings for the group, and delete the group. - Manage asynchronous mirrored pairs
You can manage a mirrored pair to remove a mirror relationship from a mirror consistency group, increase reserved capacity, and change the alert thresholds for reserved capacity settings. - Deactivate asynchronous mirroring
You can deactivate asynchronous mirroring on the local and remote storage arrays to re-establish normal use of dedicated ports on the storage arrays.
