Remote console keyboard support
In the remote console window under Keyboard, the following option items are provided:
- Click Virtual Keyboard to launch the virtual keyboard. This feature is useful if you are using a tablet device that does not have a physical keyboard.
The following options can be used to create macros and key combinations that can be sent to the server. The operating system on the client system that you are using may trap certain key combinations (for example Ctrl+Alt+Del) instead of transmitting them to the server. Other keys, such as F1 or Esc, may be intercepted by the program or browser that you are using. Macros provides a mechanism to send keystrokes to the server that the user might not be able to send.
- Click Server Macros to use server defined macros. Some server macros are predefined by the XClarity Controller firmware.
