Gathering the prerequisites

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the following prerequisite hardware and software:

  • One 1 GbE top of rack (TOR) switch for connection to the integrated management module (IMM)

  • Two 10 GbE TOR switches

  • VMware licenses (if required)

Besides, ensure that the appliance is connected to an ac power source (two power cables per appliance) and in a proper cooling environment.
