Cabling a mirrored HA pair

To cable a mirrored HA pair, you must identify the ports that you need to use on each node, cable those ports, and then cable the HA interconnect.

Before you begin

You must have cabled the SAS or NVMe disk shelves. The Installation and Setup Poster or Hardware Installation and Maintenance Guide has instructions for cabling SAS or NVMe disk shelves.

  1. Cabling interconnect ports
    To cable the interconnect ports (for cluster interconnect and HA interconnect, if applicable) between the HA pair nodes, the nodes must be connected to each other through the interconnect ports using optical cables or DACs.
