Installing the nodes in a rack cabinet

Before you cable your nodes together, you must install the rack cabinet, nodes, and any disk shelves, and connect the nodes to the network.

1. Install the rack cabinets, nodes, and disk shelves as described in the Hardware Maintenance and Installation Guide.
2. Connect the nodes to the network, as described in the Installation and Setup Instructions or Hardware Installation and Maintenance Guide for your system.
3. Connect the system cabinets to an appropriate power source and apply power to the cabinets.
