Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager V4V5 startup

To start LXPM V4V5, do the following:

  1. Turn on the server. Press F1 as soon as you see the logo screen.

  2. If you have set a password, enter the correct password.

  3. Wait for several seconds. LXPM V4V5 opens.
    Note
    If the text-based interface for UEFI Setup opens instead of the program, go to System Settings > <F1> Start Control and select Tool Suite. Then, restart the server and repeat step 1 to step 3 to open the program.

  4. Click Language button on the top right corner of the interface and select the language in which you want to view the program. Then, you can start to use the program.

Note

  • When LXPM V4V5 opens, if there is any system error or warning, a window will be displayed. Follow the guidance of the window to go to the Diagnostics interface to see the detailed information for the error or warning.

  • After disabling USB Mass Storage Driver Support in UEFI Setup > System Settings > Device and I/O Ports > USB Configuration, text-based interface will replace LXPM V4V5 for UEFI Setup.

  • When LXPM V4V5 opens, if there is any system error or warning, a window will be displayed. Follow the guidance of the window to go to the Diagnostics interface to see the detailed information for the error or warning.
