CMOS battery (CR2032) replacement

Use the following procedures to remove and install the CMOS battery (CR2032).

Attention
The system battery is a consumable component and naturally degrades while the system is not connected to AC power. The battery will fully discharge and require replacement after 60-90 days of cumulative time disconnected from AC power. Lenovo recommends minimizing the time disconnected from AC power to maximize system battery lifespan. Customers are responsible for replacing consumable parts as needed.
