Introduction

The ThinkSystem SR680a V4 server (Types 7DMK and 7DPA) is a powerful 8U server that features two 6th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and eight high-performance GPUs. This air-cooled server is the ultimate Generative AI platform, featuring advanced GPU-to-GPU communication and high-speed PCIe 5.0 connectivity between processors and GPUs, as well as processors and networking devices. Processor-to-processor communication is supported via Intel UPI (Ultra Path Interconnect) for high-bandwidth, low-latency data transfer. It is designed to accelerate AI workloads including modeling, training, simulation, rendering, financial tech, and scientific research.
