Creating a consistency group

You can create a consistency group directly from Storage Manager.

  1. Go to Protection > Consistency Groups.
  2. Select +Add.
  3. Choose the appropriate LUN, volume or namespace to be part of the consistancy group.
    • If you choose using an existing volume, you will then select a group name. Choose the volume from the Volumes dialogue box.
    • If you choose using a new LUN, you will need to provide a name for the consistency group, the number of LUNs, LUN size, host initiator address, host type and host format.
  4. Click Save.
