Enabling SnapMirror Active Sync

Before you begin

You must first setup cluster and SVM peering first. You will also need to add the ONTAP Mediator before starting the following procedure.

  1. Click Protection > Overview.
  2. Select Protect for Business Continuity.
  3. Select the LUNs that will be part of the new consistency group by checking each one from the LUNs field.
  4. Specify a name for the new consistency group.
  5. Select the destination cluster from the CLUSTER field.
  6. Verify that the peer SVM is listed in the Storage VM field.
  7. If you need to make any changes to the destination settings, click that option and alter the required fields.
  8. Click Save.
