Hiding the Snapshot copy directory

You can use Storage Manager to hide the Snapshot copy directory ( .snapshot ) so that the Snapshot copy directory is not visible when you view your volume directories. By default, the .snapshot directory is visible.

1. Click Storage > Volumes .
2. From the Volumes on SVM list, select All SVMs .
3. Select the volume for which you want hide the Snapshot copy directory.
4. Click More Actions > Manage Snapshots > Configuration Settings .
5. Ensure that the Make snapshot directory (.snapshot) visible option is not selected, and then click OK .
