Delete initiator
The delete initiator command deletes the initiator object.
Supported Arrays
This command applies to an individual DE2000H, DE4000H, DE4000F, DE6000H, or DE6000F storage array.
Roles
To execute this command on an storage array, you must have the Storage Admin role.
Context
Important
This command replaces the deprecated delete iscsiInitiator command.
Note
This command is applicable only to iSCSI and NVMe over RoCE.
Syntax
delete initiator (["initiatorName"] | <"initiatorQualifiedName">)
Parameters

| initiator | Allows you to specify the initiator identifier for which you want to delete. Enclose the name in double quotation marks (“ “). You also must enclose the name in square brackets ([ ]) if the value is a user label or angle brackets (< >) if the value is a qualified name (for example, iqn). |
