AutoSupport commands for all storage arrays

This section describes commands that apply to all storage arrays. AutoSupport is set to disabled by default. To obtain all of the benefits of AutoSupport, it must be enabled. Before enabling AutoSupport, please read the Lenovo Privacy Statement at https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/privacy/.

Note
The Secure Command Line interface package must be installed for these commands to operate on an DE2000H/ DE4000H / DE4000F/ DE6000H/ DE6000F storage array.
  • Enable or disable AutoSupport (all individual arrays)
    This command enables or disables AutoSupport (ASUP) feature for the storage array and makes it possible to transmit messages to the technical support site. After you enable the ASUP feature, the ASUP-capable storage array is automatically prepared to collect and send support-related data to technical support. The data can then be used for remote troubleshooting and problem analysis.
  • Save storage array support data
    The save storageArray supportData command saves the support-related information of the storage array to a file.
