Disassembling the system board for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the system board before recycling.

Before disassembling the system board:

1. Remove the system board from the server (see Removing the system board).

2. Refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.

Complete the following steps to disassemble the system board:

1. Remove the 14 slotted screws with PH2 screwdriver:

   • 14 slotted screws with PH2 screwdriver

   • 8 Torx screws with T20 screwdriver

2. Separate the components 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 from the system board.

After disassembling the system board, comply with local regulations when recycling.
