Use this information to install the server cover.
To install the server top cover, complete the following steps:
- Make sure that all cables, adapters, and other components are installed and seated correctly and that you have not left loose tools or parts inside the server. Also, make sure that all internal cables are correctly routed.
- Align the cover over the server (toward the rear of the server) until the cover edges slip into position over the chassis.
- Slide the cover toward the front of the server; then, press down on the cover release latch until it clicks into place.
- Slide the server back into the rack cabinet until it latches.
- Reconnect the external cables and power cords.
