Discovery and management cmdlets

The following PowerShell cmdlets are available for performing discovery, manage, and unmanage functions.

  • Add-LXCAManagedDevice
    This cmdlet adds one or more chassis, rack and tower servers, RackSwitch switches, and rack storage devices for management by the Lenovo XClarity Administrator server (manages a device).
  • Invoke-LXCASystemAction
    This cmdlet powers on, powers off, restarts, or virtually reseats a target device (CMM, server, switch, or storage controller).
  • Remove-LXCAManagedDevice
    This cmdlet removes one or more devices (including chassis, rack and tower servers, rack switches, and rack storage devices from management by the Lenovo XClarity Administrator server (unmanages the device).
  • Set-LXCASystemIPInterface
    This cmdlet modifies the IP interface configuration of a chassis, server, or Flex switch. You can specify settings such as DHCP mode, gateway, and address.
  • Set-LXCASystemProperty
    This cmdlet modifies the properties for a chassis, rack or tower server, RackSwitch switch, or rack storage device. You can set properties such as hostname, description, contact, and display name.
