Managing servers through XClarity Administrator

Lenovo XClarity Integrator Hardware Management Pack supports to manage the ThinkServer, SR635/655, and HX2710/3710 (8689) servers through XClarity Administrator in out-of-band mode.

Lenovo XClarity Integrator Hardware Management Pack provides the following functions:

  • Discovering the ThinkServer, SR635/655, and HX2710/3710 (8689) servers through XClarity Administrator

  • Monitoring the health of the ThinkServer, SR635/655, and HX2710/3710 (8689) servers and displaying the events and alerts

  • Retrieving and displaying the information of the ThinkServer, SR635/655, and HX2710/3710 (8689) servers

  • Providing an option for deleting the BMC node

Before you begin

Before managing the ThinkServer, SR635/655, and HX2710/3710 (8689) servers, ensure that the target ThinkServer, SR635/655, or HX2710/3710 (8689) server is managed by XClarity Administrator.
Note
You should not register XClarity Administrator in XClarity Integrator if there is no ThinkServer, SR635/655, or HX2710/3710 (8689) server in your Operations Manager environment.
