Removing a server

The following procedure describes how to remove a ThinkServer, SR635/655, or HX2710/3710 (8689) server from Operations Manager.

Note

Remove the ThinkServer, SR635/655, or HX2710/3710 (8689) server from XClarity Administrator first before you remove the server from Operations Manager.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Operations Manager console.
2. In the left navigation pane, click Monitoring > Lenovo Hardware > ThinkServer and SR635/655.
3. Click the ThinkServer and SR635/655 BMC view, select a server, and click (Lenovo) Remove BMC in the Task pane on the right.
