Setting the BMC communication protocol

The following procedure describes how to set the BMC communication protocol.

Before you begin

Ensure that the HTTPS protocol is enabled on all BMC nodes if you only want to use the HTTPS protocol to communicate with BMC nodes.

Note

If you do not select the Only use HTTPS protocol to communicate with BMC nodes check box, the HTTPS protocol and the HTTP protocol will be tried in sequence.

Procedure

1. Log in to XClarity Integrator Service. Refer to Logging in to XClarity Integrator Service.
2. Click Security Settings in the left navigation pane. The Security Settings page opens.
3. Click the Security Settings tab.
4. Select the Only use HTTPS protocol to communicate with BMC nodes check box.
5. Click Save.
