If you have the high availability (HA) requirement on XClarity Integrator Service, Windows or VMWare HA technology is recommended. The following procedure describes how to support XClarity Integrator Service HA with Windows HA technology.
Procedure
- Prepare the Windows HA environment, and set up two hosts with Hyper-v, FailOver Cluster. Ensure that the two hosts share the same storage.
- Create a Windows virtual machine on the shared storage.
- Install XClarity Integrator Service separately on the virtual machine.
- Configure and register Operations Manager on the XClarity Integrator Service.
If the host needs to be maintained, the virtual machine with XClarity Integrator Service installed can be migrated to another host.
If the host stops responding with errors, the virtual machine with XClarity Integrator Service installed will restart on another host automatically.
