Synchronizing System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 and System Center Operations Manager

Important

When importing Lenovo Hardware PRO Pack, a connection to the management group must exist during the installation. To connect to the management group, you must be a member of the Operations Manager Administrators user role. Otherwise, you might encounter problems trying to import Lenovo Hardware PRO Pack.

Procedure

1. On the SCVMM management server, open a Windows PowerShell window.
2. On a command line, enter the following commands:

   get-vmmserver<fully qualified domain name of management server>

   set-vmmserver -opsmgrserver<fully qualified domain name of management server>
