Configure Maximum Run Time for Lenovo update bundle

This topic describes how to configure the Maximum Run Time for Lenovo update bundle on SCCM.

About this task

By default, the maximum run time of software update is 10 minutes. However, the firmware update may take more time to finish. The maximum run time increases with the number of updates in one update bundle.

If there is one update in an update bundle, it is recommended to change the Maximum Run Time to 30 minutes. If there are more than one update in an update bundle, add 10 minutes for each update.

Procedure

1. In the Software Library pane, click Overview > Software Updates > All Software Updates.
2. Right click a Lenovo update bundle. The Properties window is displayed.
3. Select Maximum Run Time, and change the maximum run time.
