Install the power distribution module

Use this information to install the power distribution module.

Before you install the power distribution module, complete the following steps:
  1. Read the following sections to ensure that you work safely.

  2. Turn off the server. Disconnect the power cords and all external cables (see Power off the server).

Procedure

  1. Hold the tab and slide the power distribution module into the server.
  2. Fasten the screw on the rear of the server.
  3. Fasten the screw on the bottom of the server.

After you install the power distribution module, complete the following steps:

  1. Install the node if needed (see Install a node).

  2. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.

  3. If necessary, configure the RAID array using the Setup utility configuration.
