Install the front operator panel

Use this information to install the front operator panel.

Before you install a fan, complete the following steps:

  1. Read Safety and Installation Guidelines to ensure that you work safely.

To install the front operator panel, complete the following steps:

  1. Slide the front operator panel and cables into the slot on the front server.

  2. Install the screws that secure the front operator panel.

  3. Connect the front operator and USB cables to the system board.

After you install the front operator panel, complete the following steps:

  1. Install the top cover onto the server (see Install the top cover).

  2. Install the server into the rack if necessary.

  3. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.
