Remove the front operator panel (3.5-inch HDD model)

Use this information to remove the front operator panel (3.5-inch HDD model).

Before you remove the front operator panel, complete the following steps:
  1. Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.

  2. Turn off the server. Disconnect the power cords and all external cables (see Power off the server).

  3. If server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack.

  4. Remove the top cover (see Remove the top cover).

To remove the front operator panel, complete the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the front operator and USB cables from the system board.

  2. Remove the two screws that secure the front operator panel.

  3. Pull out the front operator panel from the server.
