Install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model)

Use this information to install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model).

Before you install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model), complete the following steps:
  1. Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.

To install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model), complete the following steps:

  1. Slide the front operator panel into the assembly bay.

  2. Install the two screws to secure the front operator panel.

  3. Connect front operator panel cables to connectors on the system board.
    Note
    Make sure the front I/O cables are correctly routed as illustrated.

After you install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model) , complete the following steps:

  1. Install the top cover onto the server (see Install the top cover).

  2. Install the server into the rack if necessary.

  3. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.
