Install the EDSFF drive cage assembly
Follow instructions in this section to install the EDSFF drive cage assembly.
About this task
Attention
Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
Touch the static-protective package that contains the drive to any unpainted metal surface on the solution; then, remove the drive from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.
Procedure
Insert the EDSFF drive cage assembly into the drive cage slot until the plunger clicks into place.

After you finish
Reconnect the power and signal cables to the EDSFF drive backplane.
Reinstall the EDSFF hot-swap drive or drive bay filler (if any). See Install an EDSFF hot-swap drive.
Complete the parts replacement. See Complete the parts replacement.
