Network problems

Could not log in using LDAP account with SSL enabled

Complete the following procedure to solve the problem:
  1. Make sure that the license key is valid.

  2. Generate a new license key and log in again.

Network connection is lost or with degraded performance

Complete the following procedure to solve the problem:
  1. Network connection may be lost or with degraded performance with exposure to conducted and/or radiated frequency. Take appropriate actions in this case.

Network settings can not be changed

Complete the following procedure to solve the problem:
  1. Go to Setup Utility > BMC Settings > Network Settings, and check if the system is configured as following:

    • In Network Interface Port, Dedicated is set.
    • In Fail-over Rule, Failover to Shared NIC is set.
    • In Failed over to Shared NIC > Network Settings, Independence is set.
  2. If the system is indeed configured so, go to Setup Utility > BMC Settings > Network Settings > Network Interface Port, and select Shared NIC.
  3. Change network settings as you plan, and save the settings.
  4. Go to Setup Utility > BMC Settings > Network Settings > Network Interface Port, and select Dedicated.
