Un'etichetta su ciascun cavo indica l'origine e la destinazione del collegamento. Queste informazioni sono riportate nel formato RY-X e P Z, Dove Y indica il numero di scheda verticale PCIe, X indica il connettore sulla scheda verticale e Z indica il connettore sull'assieme della scheda di sistema.
