Regole e ordine di installazione delle schede verticali e degli adattatori PCIe

Gli adattatori e le schede verticali PCIe devono essere installati in un ordine specifico nel server.

Nota

  • Le schede verticali PCIe Gen 4 contengono solo gli slot PCIe Gen 4.

  • Le schede verticali PCIe Gen 5 contengono gli slot PCIe Gen 4 e PCIe Gen 5.

  • Le prestazioni potrebbero essere ridotte se una scheda PCIe x16 è installata in uno slot PCIe a 8 corsie.

  • L'avvio della ROM facoltativa legacy è supportato solo sugli adattatori PCIe installati nei seguenti slot PCIe.
    • Schede verticali FH a due slot: 7, 8, 19, 20
    • Schede verticali HH a sei slot: 11, 14
    • Schede verticali FH a sei slot: 3, 6, 8, 15, 18, 20
  • Gli slot PCIe disponibili dipendono dalle schede verticali e dal numero di processori installati.
    • Scheda verticale FH a due slot:
      • Da due a quattro processori: 7, 8, 19, 20
    • Scheda verticale FH a sei slot e scheda verticale HH a sei slot:
      • Due processori: 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 15, 18, 20
      • Tre processori: 3, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
      • Quattro processori: 3-20

  • Lo slot PCIe 20 non è disponibile per le schede verticali con un vano dell'unità da 7 mm.
