Editing SVM settings

You can use Storage Manager to edit the properties of storage virtual machines (SVMs), such as the name, default language, and resource allocation.

1. Click Cluster > Storage VMs.
2. Select the required SVM and click the more icon .
3. Select Edit.
4. Specify the SVM name, volume deletion retention period, and the language.
5. Optional: Select where the volume creation is limited to using the Resource Allocation option and select Limit volume creation to preferred local tiers.
6. Click Save.
