Adding drives to the Cloud Controller

This section covers the procedures to add the newly installed storage drives to the Cloud Controller.

There are several steps required to add the drives the new drives to the Cloud Controller:

• Adding the new drives to the RAID array
  This section covers the steps required to add the new drives to the RAID array.
• Increasing the size of the VDO
  This section covers the steps required to increase the size of the VDO data after adding the new storage drives to the RAID array.
• Increasing the size of the CBS pool
  This section covers the steps required to increase the sizes of the CBS pool and of the CBS pool data.
• Updating the CBS superblock
  This section covers the steps required to update the CBS superblock.
