Workload Profile setting

The system Workload Profile must be set to General Computing – Max Performance to optimize system performance for its intended role as an Azure Local instance node.

To check/modify the Workload Profile setting, follow these steps:
  1. Reboot the server if necessary and enter the UEFI menu screen by pressing the F1 key when prompted at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Navigate to System Settings. Ensure that Workload Profile is set to General Computing – Max Performance, as shown in the following figure. If it is not, press Enter and use the arrow keys to select General Computing – Max Performance before pressing Enter again. Once the setting has been made, proceed to Processors settings.
