The system Workload Profile must be set to General Computing – Max Performance to optimize system performance for its intended role as an Azure Local instance node.
To check/modify the Workload Profile setting, follow these steps:
- Reboot the server if necessary and enter the UEFI menu screen by pressing the F1 key when prompted at the bottom of the screen.
- Navigate to System Settings. Ensure that Workload Profile is set to General Computing – Max Performance, as shown in the following figure. If it is not, press Enter and use the arrow keys to select General Computing – Max Performance before pressing Enter again. Once the setting has been made, proceed to Processors settings.
