Adding a node to an existing cluster

To add a node to an existing vSAN cluster manually, use the VMware documentation.

Note

The node which is going to be added must be the same machine type and configuration as the nodes in the existing cluster.

After adding the node to the cluster, update the firmware on all nodes in the cluster to match the latest ThinkAgile VX Best Recipe, which can be found here: https://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht505302
