Updating a vSAN cluster

From time to time, you might need to update the firmware and drivers for the ThinkAgile VX appliances in your vSAN cluster, or you might need to update ESXi, based on the ThinkAgile VX Best Recipe. The preferred method for updating the ThinkAgile VX appliances is to use LXCI and vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)

To update LXCI, complete the following procedures:

Note

Before updating a host, make sure that you place the host in Maintenance Mode. After the update, remove the host from maintenance mode. For more information about Maintenance Mode, see the following topic:
