System monitoring

The chapter contains a list and description of the LED indicators for DE series storage array components, as well as a critical events reference that can be helpful in diagnosing issues and resolving problems.

  • Understanding the controller LEDs and displays
    You can monitor the state of the hardware by using the LEDs and displays on the hardware and the Recovery Guru in System Manager. You can track events related to the operation of your storage array through the event log.

    Critical events from DE Series arrays display certain defined fields in the alert and SNMP trap messages.
