Compute tray front view

This section contains information on the front view of the compute tray.

1 E1.S hot-swap drive bays (0 to 7)

Install E1.S drives to these bays. See Install an E1.S hot-swap drive to a compute tray.

2 USB 3.0 connector

Connect a USB device to this connector.

3 RJ-45 BMC management port

Provides dedicated access to the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) for remote monitoring, power control, and firmware management.

4 Power button/LED

Press this button to turn the system on and off manually. The states of the LED are as follows:

OffNoneThe system is off.
Blinking (1 HZ)GreenThe system is in power-off state.
Blinking (4 HZ)GreenThe system is running POST.
Solid onGreenThe system is on and running.

5 System ID button/LED

Use this system ID button and the system ID LED to visually locate the system. The states of the LED are as follows:

OffNoneThe system is in a normal operating state.
Blinking (1 HZ)BlueThe location identification feature is activated.

6 Reset button

Press and hold the reset button with a flat object to reset the system.

7 Micro-USB management port

Provides a CPU UART interface for debugging and diagnostics.

8 Mini DisplayPort connector

Connect a monitor to this connector.

Note
The maximum video resolution is 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.

9 DPU adapter (BlueField-3 B3240)

An NVIDIA BlueField-3 B3240 DPU adapter provides high-performance network acceleration and offload capabilities. It is equipped with one 1GbE RJ-45 OOB management port and two QSFP ports supporting up to 400 Gb/s Ethernet or NDR InfiniBand connectivity.

10 OSFP card

Each card is equipped with two 800 Gb/s OSFP connectors, supporting direct GPU connections for high-speed data transfers.

11 RJ-45 OS management port

Provides a dedicated 1GbE interface that serves for the Host OS network connection.

12 OSFP card

Each card is equipped with two 800 Gb/s OSFP connectors, supporting direct GPU connections for high-speed data transfers.
